Click Here to visit HUD's web site for more information about the FHA Streamline Program offered through iFreedom Direct.
The basic requirements of the government-sponsored streamline refinance program are:
- The mortgage to be refinanced must already be FHA or VA insured.
- The mortgage to be refinanced should be current (not delinquent) at the time of closing.
- The results of the refinance must lower the borrower's monthly principal and interest payments or lower the number of years left on the mortgage.
The Streamline program takes about 2-3 weeks to complete and also may allow you to skip sending in a check for your monthly mortgage payment.
Documents and information needed by iFreedom Direct to complete the Streamline program are:
1. "Note" (should have FHA case number in a box upper right corner) OR "Deed of Trust". Either of those two documents will be found in the closing documents received when the home was purchased.
2. Copy of driver’s license for ALL borrowers on the mortgage
3. Authorization - Just write this sentence down on any piece of paper, "I authorize iFreedom Direct to obtain and verify all information needed to complete the Streamline program." Then have all borrowers on the mortgage sign their name under it and date it.
Documents can be faxed to iFreedom Direct toll-free at
(866) 430-1909.
